VoxelCut

VoxelCut

The AI Minecraft video editor that films your server

Most AI Shorts makers paste stock gameplay under a voiceover. VoxelCut films your server: it joins in a real Minecraft Java client, records each shot at the length the script needs, and edits everything into a Short you can still change by hand.

What happens when you type a prompt

You type
“30s Short: “you’ll never get bored here”. Narrator voice. Show mining, the cannons and the rift portal, run /enchants and showcase the Fortune upgrade. End with how to join.”
  1. Writes the script

A hook, the features you named and an ending, in the style you pick. It asks only what it can’t work out, such as the voice or how to end.

  2. Voices it with word timing

A narrator or several characters, with a timestamp for every word, so cuts and captions snap to speech.

  3. Plans every shot

Each phrase gets a shot that shows what the words say, plus captions, zooms and sounds placed against the voice.

  4. Films in Minecraft

It joins your server in a real Minecraft client, moves like a cameraman, mines, runs commands, opens menus, reads them with vision, glides the cursor to the item and records each shot at the exact length.

  5. Edits and mixes

Captions, Minecraft-font text, zooms, transitions, sound effects and music go on a normal timeline, mixed to around −14 LUFS.

  6. Checks and hands back

It looks at its own frames, then gives you an editable project. Tweak it by hand or by chat, then export or upload.

What’s in the editor

  • Word-by-word captions in the styles measured from top Minecraft Shorts, with a colour per speaker. See captions.
  • Minecraft-font text: money counters that roll up, stage labels, “◀◀ EARLIER:” flashback labels, fake chat lines, nametags, stamps, tooltips, titles and the IP badge.
  • Camera moves: entry push-ins and settle-outs, punch zooms to a tooltip, white-flash and glitch transitions.
  • In-game staging: client-side actors with any skin, particles, fake chat, titles, boss bars and scoreboards that exist only in the recording.
  • Sound: narrator and multi-character voices, a sound-effects library including your own Minecraft sounds, music fitted to length, ducking under the voice.
  • Brand Kit: name, address, logo, colours and talking points per server, so every video ends on your address.
  • Export and upload: 9:16 presets for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels, a landscape YouTube preset, and direct upload with a written title, caption and hashtags.

What you need

  • A Windows 10 or 11 PC (see download for requirements)
  • Your own copy of Minecraft Java Edition and the official launcher. VoxelCut never asks for your Microsoft password.
  • Java Edition 1.20.4, 1.21.4, 1.21.8 or 26.3, picked per project
  • The address of the server you want to film. No server files, plugins or operator access needed.

Filming uses normal player movement and camera control, but some anticheats may flag automated movement. If you own the server, exempt your filming account; if not, ask the owner first.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an AI that makes Minecraft videos?

Yes. VoxelCut writes and voices a script, films the footage on your server in a real Minecraft Java client, and edits it into a vertical Short with captions, Minecraft-style text, effects and music.

Does VoxelCut use stock gameplay?

No. It films the shots it needs on the server you choose, or uses recordings you make yourself. You can also import your own clips.

Can I edit the video after the AI makes it?

Yes. Everything lands on a normal timeline. Switch to Edit mode to trim, move and restyle by hand, or keep chatting with the AI. Undo works either way.

Does it work with Bedrock Edition?

Filming uses Minecraft Java Edition. If your server also accepts Bedrock players, the IP badge can show your Bedrock address and port.

Is VoxelCut free?

You can try it for free: your first 2 videos are free, with a VoxelCut watermark. Paid plans include a number of videos a month, voices and music, more storage and no watermark. You also need your own Claude plan, sold separately by Anthropic.
