Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
This policy explains what VoxelCut collects when you use the website, the desktop app and your account, why we need it and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, name (optional), a hashed password and sign-in sessions.
- Billing data: your plan, the videos counted in each billing period, your voice and music usage, and payment records. Card and payment details are handled by PayNow; we never see them.
- Content for voices and music: text to be voiced, prompts for music and sound effects, and audio to be transcribed. Your conversation with Claude happens in Claude’s own app, between you and Anthropic; we don’t receive it.
- Image searches: the words you search for pictures in the app, kept for 180 days to run the Service and prevent abuse.
- Cloud files: files the AI generates for you (like voiceovers) and files you choose to store in the cloud.
- Connected accounts: when you connect TikTok or YouTube, the account name, avatar and an encrypted access token, so the app can upload for you.
- Usage data: app version, when the app is opened, exports and uploads, so we can keep the Service working and plan improvements.
Your Minecraft and Microsoft credentials are never collected: you sign in to Minecraft through the official launcher.
Why we use it
- To run the Service you asked for (contract): sign-in, voices and music, storage, uploads and billing.
- To keep it secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your projects to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
- ElevenLabs, to generate voices, sound effects and music and to transcribe audio.
- OpenAI’s moderation service, to check text and prompts before they’re voiced or composed.
- Brave Search, to find pictures for your image searches (it receives the words, not your account).
- PayNow, to take payments (as the merchant of record).
- Our hosting and storage providers, and our email provider for sign-in codes and receipts.
- TikTok and Google (YouTube), only when you connect an account and upload.
Some of these providers are outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Cloud files stay until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Connected-account tokens are deleted when you disconnect.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to some uses and complain to your data-protection authority. Many of these you can do from your account; for anything else email [email protected].
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to process payments. See the Cookie Notice.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
