What is VoxelCut?
VoxelCut is a desktop video editor for Minecraft servers that works with Claude. You describe the Short you want to Claude, and through VoxelCut it writes the script, generates the voiceover, films the footage in a real Minecraft client on your PC, edits it with captions, Minecraft-style text, effects, sound and music, and can upload it to TikTok and YouTube.
Who is it for?
Minecraft server owners and their marketing teams, plugin developers who want showcase videos, and creators who make Minecraft Shorts. It also films websites, so you can show your store or landing page in the same video.
Does it really control Minecraft?
Yes. VoxelCut installs a small companion mod into its own Minecraft launcher profile. The AI uses it to join a server by address, move the camera like a cameraman, mine, run commands, open menus, hover items and record the footage it needs, timed to the voiceover.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Java Edition 1.20.4, 1.21.4, 1.21.8 and 26.3. You pick the version per project. You need your own copy of Minecraft Java Edition and the official launcher; VoxelCut never asks for your Microsoft password.
Do I need the server files or a plugin on my server?
No. VoxelCut joins any server by its address, like a normal player. It doesn’t need server files, plugins or operator access. For staged scenes it can also spawn client-side actors and effects that only exist in the recording.
Can I edit the video myself?
Yes. Everything the AI does lands on a normal timeline: clips, captions, text, zooms, sound and music. Switch to Edit mode to trim, move and restyle by hand, or keep chatting with the AI to change it. Undo works the same either way.
What does it export?
Vertical 9:16 MP4s for TikTok and YouTube Shorts, encoded to each platform’s upload spec with normalised loudness. There is also a landscape YouTube preset and a quick draft preset.

Do I need Claude?
Yes. VoxelCut works with Claude Desktop and Claude Code: you describe the video to Claude in its own app, and Claude uses VoxelCut’s tools to write, voice, film and edit it while you watch in VoxelCut. You need your own Claude plan (Pro or Max recommended), sold separately by Anthropic. VoxelCut never asks for your Claude sign-in.
What’s included in Free?
Free is a one-time trial: connect your own Claude and make 2 videos with a VoxelCut watermark, using the stock voices. They’re once per account, so after those 2, subscribe to keep exporting. Paid plans remove the watermark and add videos every month and every stock voice, plus trailers from Pro.
What counts as a video?
A video counts the first time you export a project in your billing period. Exporting the same project again in that period is free, so fix and re-export as often as you like. On Free, a project counts once, ever: export it again whenever you like.
Can I make trailers?
Yes, on Pro and above: Pro includes 2 trailers a month, Studio 5 and Agency 15. Trailers have their own count, so they never use your videos.
What happens when I use all my videos?
You can keep editing, but new exports wait until your next billing period starts. Upgrade to a bigger plan any time for more videos right away. Free’s 2 videos don’t come back: subscribe to keep exporting new ones (the projects you already exported can still be exported again).
Are voices and music included?
Yes. Narration, character voices, music and sound effects come with every plan, under a fair-use allowance that resets each billing period; your account shows how much of it you’ve used. Free includes enough for its 2 videos, with the stock voices; paid plans unlock every stock voice.
Can I clone a voice?
Only your own. On a paid plan you record your voice in the app, confirm it’s yours and read a check sentence aloud; VoxelCut then makes a copy that only your account can use. Delete it any time. Cloning anyone else’s voice isn’t allowed.
How do upgrades work?
Pick a bigger plan in your account or the app. It starts right away with its full number of videos, and your old plan is cancelled so it doesn’t renew. To move to a smaller plan, cancel and subscribe to it once your current period ends.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then you move to the Free plan. Your projects stay, and you can open and edit them any time.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by PayNow, our payment provider and merchant of record. Plans are charged in US dollars; PayNow takes cards and the other payment methods it offers in your country, and handles sales tax and VAT.

How does auto-upload work?
Connect your TikTok and YouTube accounts once from the app or your account page. When a video is ready, VoxelCut writes the title, description and hashtags and uploads it straight from your own computer. Disconnect an account any time from your account page.
Where are my videos stored?
Projects live on your PC. Cloud storage is used for files the AI generates (like voiceovers) and for anything you choose to keep in the cloud, up to your plan’s limit.
Is it allowed on my server?
Filming uses normal player movement and camera control, but some anticheats may flag automated movement. If you own the server, exempt your filming account; if not, ask the owner first.
