Terms of Service
Last updated 5 November 2026
These terms apply to your use of VoxelCut: the desktop app, this website, your account and the AI services behind them (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account.
- Keep your password and verification codes private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Give us a working email address; we use it for sign-in codes, receipts and important notices.
2. Plans and payments
- Paid plans include a number of videos per billing period. The Free plan is a one-time trial: 2 videos per account, ever, which carry a VoxelCut watermark. A video counts the first time you export a project in a period (on Free, the first time ever); exporting the same project again doesn’t count again. Plans that include trailers count them separately, as the pricing page shows. Unused videos and trailers don’t carry over to the next period.
- Voices, music and sound effects are included in every plan under a fair-use allowance that resets each billing period. The Free plan’s covers its 2 videos with the stock voices and doesn’t reset, and its image searches are for the account’s whole life too; once its 2 videos are made, voices, music and image searches need a paid plan. When an allowance is used up, it waits until the next period or an upgrade.
- Upgrades start right away and replace your current plan, which is cancelled so it doesn’t renew. To move to a smaller plan, cancel and subscribe to it once your current period ends.
- Payments are processed by PayNow, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase and handles billing, taxes and receipts. Their checkout terms also apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your account at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
- We may change prices or the videos a plan includes with notice. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.
3. Minecraft and third-party services
- VoxelCut is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You need your own licensed copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.
- The app reads game assets (such as fonts and sounds) from your own Minecraft install on your computer and never redistributes them.
- Only film on servers where you have permission. Automated movement can trigger anticheats; you’re responsible for following each server’s rules.
- VoxelCut works with Claude Desktop and Claude Code, which you install and sign in to yourself with your own Claude plan from Anthropic. That plan is sold separately and isn’t part of the Service; Anthropic’s terms apply to it. VoxelCut never asks for or handles your Claude sign-in.
- When you connect TikTok or YouTube, you authorise VoxelCut to upload on your behalf. Those platforms’ terms apply to what you post, and you can disconnect at any time.
4. Your content
You own the videos, scripts and other content you create with the Service, and you’re responsible for it. You give us only the rights needed to run the Service for you: to process, store and transmit your content (for example, to generate a voiceover or keep files in your cloud storage). We don’t use your projects to train AI models.
5. Voices you create
- When VoxelCut offers it, paid plans can design voices from a description, up to the plan’s number of custom voices, and make one copy of your own voice. Only your account can use them.
- You may only clone your own voice. Before you record, you confirm that the voice is yours and agree that VoxelCut and its voice provider make a copy of it; the recording must include a check sentence the app shows you. We keep a record of that consent (when you gave it and its wording).
- You can delete a voice at any time in the app (Characters & Voices). Deleting it removes the copy at the voice provider and the recording we keep to make it again.
- We may remove a voice, and suspend the account, if we believe it was made from someone else’s voice without their permission.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to:
- create content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes others’ rights;
- impersonate real people or clone a voice without that person’s permission;
- mislead viewers in ways that break platform rules or advertising law;
- reverse engineer, resell, overload or get around the limits of the Service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. AI output
AI-generated scripts, voices, edits and metadata can contain mistakes. Review your video before you publish it.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted. We may update or change features; if we make a material change that affects paid features, we’ll tell you in advance.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
