A posting schedule for Minecraft server Shorts

Short-form rewards volume and consistency more than any single video. Here is a schedule a small server team can actually keep, and how to make the videos fast enough to keep it.

How many Shorts per week?

Server-growth guides aimed at owners suggest one or two clips a day on TikTok (MineGuard). That’s the high end. For a small team, three to five Shorts a week, every week is a better target: enough for the platforms to learn who to show you to, and sustainable for months.

Consistency beats bursts. Ten videos in launch week and nothing for a month teaches the algorithm and your viewers that you’ve stopped.

A weekly content mix

DayFormatWhy
MondayFeature showcaseShows new players exactly what they get
WednesdayStory or skitThe format most likely to be shared
FridayBig number or reveal (crates, rank-up, money)Weekend players are deciding where to play
OptionalHow to joinRe-post every few weeks; new viewers haven’t seen it
OptionalPlayer moment or eventProof the server is alive

The days are a suggestion. What matters is the rotation, so your feed doesn’t repeat itself. Ideas per game mode are on the video ideas pages.

Set it up in an hour

  1. Write down ten feature ideas

One line each, with how to show it in game: a command, a location, or a moment. This is your backlog for the next month.

  2. Pick your days

Choose three days and the format for each. Put them in a calendar the whole team can see.

  3. Batch the making

Make a week of Shorts in one session rather than one a day. With an AI editor this means writing a few briefs and reviewing the results.

  4. Schedule or queue uploads

Post the same video to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels, each with its own caption and its own join address.

  5. Reply to comments the same day

Comments are where your next ideas come from. Pin a reply with the address.

  6. Review once a month

Compare new players per join address and keep the formats that brought players.

Posting the same video everywhere

  • Export once per platform so each file matches its upload spec and loudness.
  • Use a different join address per platform (tiktok.yourserver.com, yt.yourserver.com) so you can tell where players come from.
  • Write the caption for each platform: the address first, one sentence, a few tags.
  • Don’t upload a video with another platform’s watermark on it.

Keeping the schedule with VoxelCut

VoxelCut makes each Short from a brief: script, voice, filming on your server, edit and export. It reads your Brand Kit so every video ends on the right address for its platform, and once your accounts are connected it uploads to TikTok and YouTube with a written title, caption and hashtags. A week of Shorts becomes a few briefs and a review.

Frequently asked questions

How many times a week should a Minecraft server post Shorts?

Three to five a week is a sustainable start for a small team; some guides suggest one or two a day if you can keep quality up.

What is the best time to post Minecraft TikToks?

There is no universal best time. Post when your players are online (check your peak hours), then compare results in each platform’s analytics after a few weeks.

Can I post the same Short on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram?

Yes. Export a version for each platform, use a separate join address per platform, and write a caption for each.
